Pathway Info.
The Pathway private DM chats are the heart and soul of Bija. We invite you to check in with your fellow members by using the journal prompts posted each week. We are all here to cheer you on, provide first-hand experience and supportive guidance.
Pathway Rules.
-
With one word you can build someone up, or tear them down. We are not in the business of tearing down at Bija, so we have a zero tolerance policy for gossip.
-
While it’s our natural instinct to help others in times of need, it’s important that we refrain from giving advice. There is a difference between giving unsolicited advice versus being asked to provide guidance or your first-hand experience. When we give advice, we may offer unsolicited help, give the person solutions they already know, and suggest superiority rather than support. Unconsciously, we also indicate to the other person that they don't have the resources to discover the solution on their own. Further, it pulls them away from their intuition.
Instead of jumping to give advice to another member, we suggest you listen deeply. If someone asks for your guidance or resources, please only speak from your personal experience using language, such as “This helped me…”
-
When we uplift one another and show up for each other, we impact and support one another for the better. Your Pathway can become some of your closest internet buddies. We encourage checking in the DM, even if only a few minutes a day. We also encourage you to attend the bi-weekly Connection Circles where you’ll get face-time with your fellow moms.
The Pathway not only allows you to show up for yourself, but is also a container that builds powerful community as you walk this journey together.

Bija is a safe place. We have a zero tolerance policy for any private information being shared outside the Pathway’s virtual walls. Do not take screenshots of any private conversations or post anything from the private DM chat on social media. This will result in immediate removal from Bija and a not so nice letter from our lawyers.
